President, Lightning Eliminators & Consultants, Inc.
Matt Napier is a business leader and manufacturing expert with over 20 years of experience in various high-level positions. Prior to Lightning Eliminators Mr. Napier was GM/President of Noffsinger Manufacturing, a $20 Million per year manufacturer of agricultural conveyor products, in northern Colorado. During his time there he led the business to 6 record-breaking years in a row. Throughout his career he has overseen and managed manufacturing, engineering, and new product development teams in the aerospace, metal-injection molding, printed circuit board, and nuclear power industries.
Originally from northern Wisconsin and Minnesota Mr. Napier attended the University of Washington on a Navy ROTC scholarship and went on to serve 5 years in the Navy as a nuclear power officer aboard the USS Nimitz before studying business and engineering at MIT through MIT’s Leaders for Manufacturing (LFM) program, graduating from the dual-degree program in 2000.
After 2 years at Intel, he secured a position as Sales Manager with Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) and was transferred to Colorado in 2003 where he was responsible for 200 employees and 3 plants for operations, manufacturing engineering, product engineering, maintenance, NPD, and sales. In 2006 he became Director of Commercial Margin for Staples. Presently he resides with his wife and son in Longmont and is thrilled to call Colorado his home.
Matt is dedicated to continuous process improvement, which has served him well in his career. His only regret is his dedication has failed him miserably when it comes to improving his golf swing.
